At the SDSJ department, there was a request for multiple Resource Guides for different communities. I was assigned to planning, conceptualizing, designing, and organizing three of the four resource guides.

Process
This is a series of images that showcases my process of creating the Native Resource Guide. I'll be showing it through two spreads!
Layout
The first step when I approach making Resource Guides and text-based content is the layout. So, I'll begin with making the text layout, putting text where it belongs and preparing for any photos that need to be placed.
Image Placement
After laying out the text, I can begin to place photos and start to do some minimal color planning.
Further Drafting & Finalizing
After this point, its making adjustments as text gets added and rewritten, or photos and colors needing to be revised.
